The first time ever visiting here in the 12 years I've lived out in the desert. it was a pretty decent swap meet lot of cool things to look at and great for the whole family. Parking is free and it only costs fifty cents per person to get in.
Graet as always fun times and good place to walk around and shop
This is the best Open Air market/swap meet I have ever been to in my entire life. They've got everything including good tacos and burritos and hotdogs, etc.
Go Wednesdays and Saturdays, early for easy parking. There are lots of vendors in this night tile swapmeet.
It was my first time to enter this flea market and it was alright. I had no idea what to expect. There was mostly newer Chinese import stuff, but there was also a,handful of vendors selling used items like used power tools and used hand tools, mowers and electrical equipment, etc. I found the one lady selling better quality jade jewelry interesting and was unexpected to find. The booth selling pet products at good prices was also cool. Lots of food truck type food there too!
I would have loved it to be more like the Rose Bowl swap meet, which was way better and much larger and with a much larger quality used section of antiques and furniture that this swap meet was totally missing.
We were vacationing in Indio and wanted to take the kids out for the night. This was a good time. Some cool things to buy some cheap some not. Camel rides for the kids. We were hoping for more food vendors . It was a Wed night. Parking got busy and and they need a bit more organizing there so you don't hit someone. Lots of room .We had a good time for 2hrs.
It was okay. It was really cold and I hear Wednesday nights are better than Saturday nights.
Nice place, but no gigantic bargains. A fun stroll.
